Mike Gall joined MCC in 2022 in the Controller role. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Michigan. He is responsible for assisting the CFO with accounting and compliance operations and supporting the Real Estate Development and Property Management Teams with vendors, application of rents and deposits, insurance, audit and tax preparation, and serves as support to Lending and Tax Credit transactions.

Prior to joining MCC, Mike worked for three years in public accounting at Plante & Moran, PLLC and one year as an internal auditor with the State of Michigan. While with Plante & Moran, he was a member of the assurance team working across a variety of industries, including working with real estate entities involved in New Market Tax Credits and low-income housing tax credits. As an internal auditor with the State of Michigan, he worked closely with MDOT to review and test internal controls and procedures and provide recommended improvements.

Mike served for six years in the Michigan Army National Guard at several units across the state, has resided in various cities all over Michigan and is excited and proud to be a part of MCC as we create sustainable development projects and restore and renovate historical buildings in some of those same cities.

Mike graduated summa cum laude from Northwood University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting.
