This NMTC and brownfield redevelopment project was an acquisition rehabilitation of the former Hotel Mertens, an eight-floor historic building in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The project redeveloped the former hotel into approximately 58,120 square feet of commercial and retail space. The project also qualified for Downtown Development Authority Tax Increment Financing reimbursement.
